E-BIKE WARRANTY INFORMATION

Warranty Period

We provide warranty coverage from the original date of purchase as follows:

  • Frame: 3 years

  • Electrical Components (including battery, motor, controller, display, wiring): 1 year

Should any original component prove defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the applicable warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective part.


Servicing Requirement

To maintain warranty coverage, the bike must be serviced at 800km or 6 months from purchase (whichever comes first) by a qualified bicycle mechanic.

Failure to complete this initial service may void warranty claims relating to wear-related or mechanical issues.


What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

  • Repair or replacement of defective parts

  • Labour for warranty repairs performed by us or an authorised service partner


What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:

    • Brake pads, brake rotors

    • Chains, cassettes, sprockets

    • Tyres, tubes, punctures

    • Bearings

    • Cosmetic wear

  • Rust or corrosion caused by environmental exposure, improper cleaning, storage, or maintenance

  • Damage caused by:

    • Improper or insufficient maintenance

    • Improper assembly

    • Accidents, impacts, crashes

    • Misuse, abuse, or negligence

    • Commercial use (including rentals or hire)

  • Damage resulting from failure to follow the owner’s manual

  • Water damage caused by submersion or riding in heavy rain or flood conditions

  • Transportation or shipping costs

  • Third-party labour costs (e.g. repairs performed by another bike shop unless authorised)


Environmental Exposure & Care

A bicycle is a vehicle used in real-world conditions and is exposed to vibration, impacts, moisture, salt air, heat, and cold.

Electric bikes are water-resistant, not waterproof.
They may be ridden in light to moderate rain but must not be submerged or ridden in heavy rain.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential:

  • Clean using fresh water and mild soap

  • Dry thoroughly after use

  • Lubricate moving parts regularly

  • Store in a dry, covered area

Rust and corrosion are not covered under warranty, as they result from environmental exposure or improper care.


Assembly & Cosmetic Issues

  • Minor adjustments (e.g. brakes, derailleur) may be required after delivery due to transport movement.

  • Assembly or adjustment performed by third parties is at the customer’s cost.

  • Minor scratches from shipping are cosmetic and not grounds for replacement. Touch-up paint may be provided where appropriate.


Aftermarket Modifications – IMPORTANT

Any modification to the bike or electrical system will immediately void the warranty, including but not limited to:

  • Installing an aftermarket throttle

  • Removing or modifying crank arms

  • Using foot pegs instead of pedals

  • Removing the chain

  • Disconnecting or bypassing brake cut-off switches

  • Cutting or altering wiring

  • Replacing or modifying the controller or battery

  • Any electrical system modification

Any change to the original design or electrical system voids warranty coverage.


Warranty Claims

Proof of purchase is required.

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact the seller directly via email or website ticketing system

  2. Provide photos and/or videos of the issue if requested

  3. Perform basic troubleshooting steps as guided by our technical team

Our technical team will assess the claim and determine warranty eligibility.
Where a fault cannot be reasonably determined, we will resolve the issue in favour of the customer.

Replacement parts may be sent for testing, and defective parts may be required to be returned.


Returns, Exchanges & Shipping

  • Warranty covers parts and labour only

  • Shipping, transport, or delivery costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • We are not responsible for third-party repair costs or shipping restrictions


Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
