The standards and compliance our e-bikes and workshop meet.
E-bike compliance
Every SLEDZ e-bike we sell and hire is built to meet Australian road-legal requirements for power-assisted pedal cycles, including the 250W continuous rated motor limit and 25km/h pedal-assist cut-off (off-road modes are rider-controlled and intended for private land only).
Electrical safety
Our batteries and chargers are tested to UN38.3 and use certified Samsung 21700 cells with a battery management system (BMS) that protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuit.
Workshop standards
Our mechanics are trained across mechanical and e-bike systems. We follow manufacturer torque and diagnostic procedures and use calibrated tools.
